Double Chocolate Baked Donuts

Light & Fluffy

These baked chocolate donuts are quick and easy to make – they only take about 20 minutes in the oven! 

This one has a traditional baked donut feel regarding texture, and the second one is more cake-like. 

Ingredients you will need...

All purpose flour

Light brown sugar

Milk chocolate chips

Cocoa powder

Cornstarch

Baking powder

Salt

Buttermilk

Butter, Corn syrup

Unsalted butter melted

Vanilla extract

Spray donut pan with vegetable oil spray. Whisk flour, sugar, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.

Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat to 400°.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Whisk buttermilk, butter, eggs, and yolk in a second bowl.

Fill about 3/4 full. This should give you about 9 donuts.

Pipe batter into prepared donut pan.

Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 8 to 10 minutes. Let donuts cool in pan for 5 minutes.
