Heavy Whipping Cream
Unsalted Room Temperature Butter

Warm up the heavy whipping cream in a small saucepan. Just to barely a simmer. Once the sugar has reached 350°F and is a dark amber color, immediately stir in the cream. The caramel will bubble and rise at this moment, be very careful not to get any of it on yourself. Stir until smooth.
Once smooth, remove from heat and add the butter and the salt. Stir until smooth. Cool for a couple of minutes and then pour into your heatproof glass jar. Let sit until cool.
