CHOCOLATE DULCE DE LECHE TART - NAILED IT!

INGREDIENTS FOR CHOCOLATE DULCE DE LECHE TART

– Butter – Sugar – Salt – Large egg – 64% Chocolate  – 70% Chocolate – Heavy whipping cream

Dulce de Leche: Take the label off the can of sweetened condensed milk and place the can into a large pot. Fill the pot with water.

Instructions:

Bring water to a simmer and continue to cook over low heat for about 4 hours. Once done, set aside to cool.

Tart Crust: Cream butter, sugar and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer. Slowly add the eggs, scraping down sides of bowl as needed.

Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder and add to the butter mixture and beat lightly until combined.

Flatten the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before rolling into ⅛-inch thickness.
