Mango Bread Loaf

The best kind of bread is the quick and easy kind. This delicious Mango Bread has diced fresh sweet mangos and almonds with lime juice and zest mixed in!

Ingredients 

Baking Soda and Salt

Lime Juice and Zest

All-Purpose Flour

Sugar

Salt

Mangoes

Buttermilk

Canola Oil

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan (bread pan) or use cooking spray.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add sugars and mix.

Whisk the egg with buttermilk, oil, honey, almond extract, lime juice, and lime zest in a medium bowl.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. You can use a stand mixer, hand mixer, or stir by hand with a spatula in a large bowl. Be sure not to overmix.

Fold in the chopped mangos and almonds. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
