Chocolate Walnut Cake

This Torta di Noci is an Italian dessert that has been around for generations, and I can't resist it when it comes to making it at home. 

Ingredients 

Large Eggs at Room Temperature

Sugar

Sunflower Oil

Instant Espresso Powder

AP Flour

Baking Powder

Dark Chocolate Chips

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Toast walnuts until brown and fragrant, about 7-10 minutes.

ROAST THE WALNUTS

Combine the egg yolks and sugar and mix until slightly fluffy. Add the sunflower oil, melted chocolate, and espresso powder then stir.

In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Then add this to the batter and mix at low speed to combine.

Transfer the mix to the prepared pan and bake for 22 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Finally, add the walnuts and chocolate chips. The batter will look bit crumbly.
