– Flour – Sugar – Baking powder – Salt – Canola oil – Silk almond milk – Eggs – Almond extract – Toasted almonds – Dried Cherries – Powdered sugar
– Preheat oven to 350° F. – In a large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the canola oil. Do not overwork the dough.
– In a medium bowl combine eggs, almond milk, almond extract. – Add egg mixture. Stir using a fork until just moistened. Add the almonds and dried cherries.
– Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead dough for 10 - 15 strokes. – Divide dough in half. Roll each portion into a 6" square. Cut into four squares.
– Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush the triangles with additional milk. – Remove from freezer and bake for 12 - 15 minutes until golden.
