For this recipe I used a light vanilla almond milk, but you could use full fat almond milk.
– Flour – Sugar – Baking powder – Salt – Canola oil – Silk almond milk – Eggs – Almond extract – Toasted almonds
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and stir in the canola oil being carful not to overwork the dough.
- Add in the almond and cherries. Knead the dough on a floured surface until nearly smooth.
